About Updating Geometry from Source

      Hi,

After moving/rotating a part which has/hasn't bodies merged with Share Topology and updating model in Mechanical via Update Geometry from Source command, all bodies get unmeshed, even with "Compare Part on Update: Associatively" and "Smart Update: No" as preferences. After remeshing and starting to solve, "The behavior of target elements (e.g. xxx, xxx) specified by real constant x are not consistent. Some of elements belong to a rigid surface, while others belong to a deformable surface." error pops up after building the mathematical model. It seems to be meshing problem with failed element normals. Ansys version is 2025 R2. How do I solve this problem?

      Delete and recreate the contacts.

Splitting contact/target faces into smaller Contacts did not work. Deactivating problematic contacts one after another did not work either. All contacts including the edited part cause analysis to fail. Interesting thing is that I have never encountered this problem in Ansys 2023. Seems like a meshing problem but I do not know the solution.
