SubscriberHi all,
I am making a 3D dynamic mesh in ansys fluent, where a solid wall is prescribed with "rigid body motion" from a UDF. The mesh is a hybrid structured/unstructured grid, and the walls with the rigid body motion are moving. The timestep size is approporiate for the first 3 iterations, however the interior mesh does not deform so a negative cell volume is produced. When I saw this post, I saw that I needed to prescribe the interior to deform but this did not work... Do you have suggestions on how to proceed? As always, thank you so much for your patience. I have attached the mesh settings below and the pic of the mesh right before a negative cell volume is produced.
