  I was trying to develop a code in the Workbench command snippet to apply a pulsating pressure wave, which is function of time and distance in the inner surface of a U-shaped pipe. I need some suggestions. Thanks.

  Time and distance? In the CFD solvers you just need time & value as the software will tell you what's going on in the flow field. Note, water hammer isn't a trivial problem so do some background reading to fully understand the physics.
