Get data from measuring tool to use in script

Hello,
is it possible to get the data from the measurement tool using python scripting?
When I select an edge with the measurement tool it gives some information about the curve, for example the min angle between adjacent faces.
Is it possible to get this value in order to sort edges below a certin value for example?
