Hello,

I currently have Ansys 2024 installed and just attempted to install 2026 using the installer I downloaded from Ansys. According to the log, everything downloaded and installed (it was going for a few hours), but Ansys 2026 is definately not installed on my computer. The only directories in C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc are CADConfigLogs, Shared Files, and v242. There's no V26X directory. There are no Ansys 26 folders in the Start Menu. Would the installer have created a log file somewhere I can look and share?

***IMPORTANT***
The installation process will now launch the Ansys Licensing Settings utility. This tool allows you to connect your installation to web-based and/or network (FlexNet Publisher) license services.

Non-Administrative Users:

You may experience problems with importing or reading geometry in Ansys Workbench with running DesignModeler or other component systems.  After completing this installation, you will need to log out and log back in as an administrator user and run the CAD Configuration Manager.

After the CAD configuration has been completed, you can log out and log back in as non-administrative user and run Ansys, Inc products.

Installation requires user to log in with administrator privileges, right click on setup.exe and select Run as Administrator.

The install log shows User Does NOT Have Administrator Privileges.
