SubscriberHello,
I have an assembly of beam element structure combined with normal parts (bodies not beam). So, when I made random vibration analysis, on the stress results, I see only the results of bodies, the beam elements are transparent. And I made "beam element results" ON, it didn't change anything. Is there away to see the stress results of beam elements?
Thanks in advance.

Ansys EmployeeHi
See this:
In solution Beam Section Results set to Yes (then we can plot Normal stress only)
Currently, Ansys does not compute or output equivalent stress for beam elements in random vibration (PSD) analyses, and this limitation is explicitly documented for BEAM188 and BEAM189 elements as well as pipe elements. :
https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/public/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v252/en/ans_elem/Hlp_E_BEAM188.html?q=beam188For a random vibration (PSD) analysis, equivalent stress is not calculated.

SubscriberHi,
Thanks for the answer. I've already made Beam Section Results to yes, it didn't help and for the rest, I can't modify the description it's fixed. Yes, it looks like it can't calculate with combined bodies.
