Parcel definition DPM Fluent

      Hi

I am running an unsteady simulation of DPM. I have plotted the particle tracks here, figure attached. Does this show the spatial distribution of parcels or particles? I am asking because it is colored by particle vel but Fluent is supposed to track parcels.

Also do all the particles in a parcle have exactly same position, velocity, and other parameters while developing in time and space?

      Hi,

The 'particle tracks' graphics will always show the position of 'parcels'. Conceptually, all the particles represented by a parcel occupy the same point position in space and have identical flow properties, velocities etc.

      Regards,

      Vishesh
