SubscriberHello,
I am trying to create a hole along the height of a concrete column with square cross section. I tried to use part trim option using curve line but it is only executable for shell element. Is there a way to delete solid elements and create circular shaft type hole in the column?
Thanks

Hi
I would create 4 edges for square, one hole in it (centre) create a face from them (surface tool : FillPin using these 5 edges).
Surface mesh face created.
Finally use Element generation tool to extrude into HEX elements along the length of column.Â

All the best

SubscriberThank you Erko for your reply, I could not implement exactly your solution but I got an idea from it. So I used trim option on 4n shell part and then created solid of it using solid-face-drag option.
Thank you Ram for your reply. I will try and see how it goes.
