SubscriberI am setting up an electromagnetic-circuit co-simulation workflow:- Build the circuit in ANSYS Twin Builder.
- Maxwell feeds the voltage between nodes 1 and 2 into Twin Builder.
- After the circuit solve, Twin Builder returns the calculated current to Maxwell.
- The data exchange is handled through System Coupling (documented in the Maxwell help).
Problem:Twin Builder does not offer an “Export FMU” option, so I cannot create the *.fmu file required by System Coupling. Could you provide some concrete instructions? -

Ansys EmployeeThis workflow doesn't require building a FMU to Maxwell, you can view the result report in both Twinbuilder and Maxwell. -

SubscriberMaxwell and Twin Builder cannot be directly connected unless both are performing transient calculations. However, in this co-simulation scenario, Maxwell is running steady-state calculations, which means direct connection to Twin Builder is not possible. Twin Builder needs to output an FMU file for the coupling to work properly. It would be helpful to provide the method for generating the FMU file under this approach.
