Simulation support regarding compaction and phase change

The simulation scenario involves a roller-die pelletizing system where a rotating rotor(die) containing small holes interacts with a counter-rotating roller to compress raw material and form pellets.

My primary question concerns the form of the raw material input.

      • Is it possible to simulate the input of raw material in a "dough form," which is defined in this context as a powder mixed with a controlled moisture content?

The second point of doubt is relates to the mechanism of particle agglomeration within the simulation environment.

      • Is the simulation model capable of demonstrating the formation of a cohesive pellet from small raw material particles (moist powder) primarily due to compression, inter-particle friction, and other physical phenomena occurring as the material is forced through the die holes by the roller and rotor?

If the simulation successfully models the pellet formation, is it possible to extract and report the key physical and mechanical properties of the resulting pellets in output results?

To ensure the successful execution of this complex simulation, I need to understand the specific ANSYS software or software combination required to model the entire process, as it involves multiple physics domains.can anyone help me with this ?

This is probably too detailed for the level of response we can provide on a public platform, so I can only be fairly vague. Have a careful look at what Rocky can do, and read the various particle interaction models there.
