SubscriberHi all,
I'm using SpaceClaim to created tighly arranged helical pipe. However, I find created helical pipe is deformed unexpectedly when I imported them into Fluentmeshing. The different view of the helical pipe in Fluentmeshign is shown below.Â
I'm sure that the problem is occurred SpaceClaim. I tried refacet the imported CAD, restart computer, restart SpaceClaim but it couldn't help.Â
It's even more weired that the deformation of pipe doesn't appear for other pipe parameters (helical radius and helical pitch).Â
//******************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Besides, I subtract a cylinder by the pipes to get the external fluid domain. However, the fluid domain of pipe is also deformed largely. The pictures of subtracted fluid domain in SpaceClaim and the situation when import it into Fluentmeshing are shown below.Â
Â
I have never encountered such a problem concerning Geometry problem before. It's really puzzling.Â
Any advice wouldn't be highly appreciated!Â
Regards

SubscriberI want to know that after Ansys learning forum updated, where is personal center on the page? I can managed my threads I have posted before, but know it's closed. I have not choice but to get into each topic and look for my thread in a large amount of different threads when I get a new reply. It's not as convenient as early version.-
