Recently, I Encountered an issue about aedt icepak transfering data into mechanical. aedt icepak cannot transfer temperature data into static strucuture (all have been updated) by importing load? Is there any more setting in icepak or workbench? Also, when the simualtion in aedt icepak is finished, the file ds.dat cannot be found.could you help me solve this problem?

      Hello,

Instead of directly linking the two analysis systems, try exporting (in a .txt or .csv file format) the temperature data for nodes (with x,y and z coordinates) and try importing this data into External Data. This External Data Module can be linked to the Static Structural Analysis system.

      5.15.5. External Data

Thank you very much. In ppt "What’s New in Ansys Icepak® 2025R1" p14, it seems that the data from aedt icepak can be directly linked to the static structure. Ansys 2025R2 is used in my computer.

Thank you very much. By using your proposed method , could you show me how to export thermal data files (txt or csv) from aedt icepak?

      Hello,

Please see if the following link helps: 6.9.10. CFD Post/Mechanical data

Thank you very much. Could you show us how to find this option in aedt icepak. The option "CFD Post/Mechanical data" seems to be in the classic icepak rather than aedt icepak.

      Hi,

Please use the ACT to map AEDT Icepak with Mechanical.

      https://developer.ansys.com/app/ansys-inc/write-thermal-loads/1

      Hope this helps.

      Best,
      Pdev
