SubscriberWhen using ANSYS SpaceClaim to automatically generate models using parameters and scripts, a problem occurs. Updating this module results in an error message like "Update failed for the spacedaim component in 'obiect'/xxx.rem' has been disconnected or does not exist at the server." if the update process takes too long.

Forum ModeratorHi,
This error typically indicates a loss of communication between Workbench and the SpaceClaim backend process. SpaceClaim runs as a separate service/process, and if that process is interrupted, terminated, or blocked, Workbench is unable to complete the update and reports that the referenced object no longer exists.Try below steps:
Close Ansys Workbench completely. >Ensure no SpaceClaim.exe process is running (via Task Manager). >Clear SpaceClaim user cache:
%APPDATA%\Ansys\SpaceClaim
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Ansys\SpaceClaim
Launch SpaceClaim standalone once to confirm it opens without errors.
Relaunch Workbench and attempt the update again.
Verify that Workbench and SpaceClaim are from the same Ansys release and patch level.
Confirm SpaceClaim licensing is available and stable during the session.
