SubscriberI am simulating wind flow over Sloping Terrain Using Ansys Fluent in a retangular geometry with boundary conditions variation in velocity inlet, symmetry on the top and sides, roughness and no-slip on the floor and pressure atmosphere outlet. My question is how can I put the velocity inlet (in x orientation) conditions when i want them working for different y values? When y<0,2 m, Velocity_X=0 m/s. When y>1000 m, Velocity_X= 8,91 m/s. When y is between 0,2 and 1000 (also considering them), Velocity_X= 1,045923*ln(y)+1,68335. I calculated those conditions using a formula for average wind speed at a height from the ground with roughness. Can I create an expression on Velocity_X using conditionals that understands my boundary conditions? Or should I create an UDF? How can I write the logics on each of them ? I have also calculated 42 values of y (m) and Velocity_X (m/s) in case it´s possible to put a sheet on Ansys FLuent that can read and translate into the program. Is that possible also ? I need help with the most appropriate mode. Thanks already!
