Hi,

I want to medel h2/o2 catalystic reaction on Pt. my problem is in calculation of site density and surface to volume ratio. 
i have defined Pt as site species. 
With my calculations base on material properties (0.5% wt pt on Al2o3 plettes of 3.2 mm and 90 m2/g) i cannot converge solution or i have high H2 conversions. In this contour H2 mass fraction is shown and reaction is just at the beginning of the porous medium.

Please check the reaction rate. It looks that the reaction rate is too high, possibly due to the incorrect values of site density and surface-to-volume ratio. It could also be caused by the reaction kinetic rate parameter values used.
