SubscriberHello everyone. I've run into an issue: I decided to take the courses on Learning Hub, but when I try to open the examples, this error occurs.
The error message is: "'5SE_ViaWWDMPS3.aedt' was created with ACIS geometry kernel. It cannot be accessed by Electronics Desktop version 2025R1 and beyond. Please use 2024R2 version to translate into Parasolid."

Subscriberhi:
This is because the geometry kernel was changed in the version after 25 version, so you can open these files with the 24 version and save them, and then use the versions after 25 to open the saved files.

SubscriberThank you for the answer, but it is highly inconvenient to maintain multiple versions AEDT for a start. Secondly, these files are located on the Learning Hub, and the issue is that to learn something, one needs to have several AEDT versions. How can this be explained to customers?

SubscriberThank you for your feedback!
I also think this has indeed brought about many inconveniences. However, the new version of the kernel supports more complex geometric modeling and stronger CAD integration capabilities, which can better support these complex models. For the case files on the ALH, I will try to suggest that they update these files.
