SubscriberHi, I am new to Ansys. I am doing a contact simulation(finding the stress field at the contact region) on Ansys Workbench. I am getting the same problem of overlapping faces. I don't know how to fix this. I am attaching the images of my project. It is the quarter model of the ball on the V groove. Please help me out.

You can study the local contact stress by going into Geometry and cutting away 90% of each body, leaving just a small amount of material around the contact point, which is called Hertzian contact stress. See these examples.
