SubscriberCan ANSYS Fluent be used effectively for metal casting simulations such as mold filling, solidification, porosity prediction, and air entrapment? If yes, to what extent is it reliable compared to tools like ProCAST or MAGMA?

Ansys EmployeeWithout knowing all the details, Fluent can possiby be used for these type of applications (depending on details).
