Rocky periodic particle usage in a pipe

      Hi

I am trying to simulate dilute micron-sized particles in a pipe with periodic condtions at inlet and outlet. Fluent DPM does not have periodic particles so i am planning to use Rocky. I was seeing a tutorial that has created a periodic domain. Can someone give an idea on whether is it possible to simulate dilute particle laden flow with periodic conditions for both particles and fluid in a 3d pipe? Can you refer to any material for this..thanks

Have a look at Tutorial 4 and https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v252/en/dem_ug/set-simulation-parameters.html

Hi-thanks. The link does not open-it requires Ansys account number, etc. Do you mean the section in Rocky user manual about Set simulation parameters pg 411? And the tutorial about SAG Mill?

Not sure about page numbers, try https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/public/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v252/en/dem_ug/set-simulation-parameters.html  Yes to SAG Mill.

      Try 3.2.6. Domain Settings Parameters

In the Rocky user manual there is no 3.2.6 section. There is one 3.5.1.7 About Domain Settings Parameter. I think this is the one.
