SubscriberI am doing 2D transient electromagnetic simulation using Maxwell.Â
For some reason model is not producing enough torque. Any insight or suggestion regarding this will be really helpful. -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
The torque can be low for some reasons, please check:
1. The mesh density in the airgap. You can also create layers of mesh elements in the airgap using dummy objects, in 2D it could be a circle.
2. The material properties: If you are using nonlinear materials, please check that the B-H curve contains enough number of points and capture well the knee of the curve.
Ensure that the model depth is correctly setup.
I hope it helps
