SubscriberHello there,
I am trying to fill up a tank using volumetric inlet for DFSPH elements of size 0.2mm, the simulator kept giving this error message: exclusive_scan failed to synchronize: CudaErrorIllegalAddress:an illegal memory access was encountered.
I tried the same simulation on both my personal computer (RTX4070) and a cluster (4xA40), both gave the same error.
Only when I add a very very low mass of fluid (0.01kg), the simulation can go on, otherwise I would encounter this error at the first second. (Even if I do 0.08kg, which is only ~19532 SPH elements.)
Currently I am avoiding this issue by using a Fluid Inlet, but it takes a lot of time for the tank to be filled and I also need a long period for it to settle down.I wonder if there is any other ways to avoid the error or do this---- I just need to fill up ~1/2 of the tank with SPH elements so that I can save it for restart and put robot inside to let it travel through water.
