Rate equation solved by Fluent

      Hello,

Does anyone know what form of the reaction rate equation does Fluent solve when simulating chemical reactions? I am particularly trying to work out what form is required for the exponent input parameter.

Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated.

      Hello,

There are many reaction rates based on the combustion model/reacting model you use. Which one are you looking for specifically?

Please refer the Ansys guide for more information.

      Hello,

I am using a volumetric reaction (with finite-rate/eddy-dissipation) and have read both the user and theory guides, but they do not explain how the exponent (n) is being used. My concern is that the structure of the reaction rate equation may affect the exponent to the reactant concentration. What do you think?
