SubscriberHello, are there really simple example model of a unsymmetric modal analysis that must be solved (suposedly) with the MODOPT, UNSYM command in ansys mechanical?
I like to build a very simple example demonstrating this capability in Ansys Mechanical and I like to know if there's a simple real life example I can use.Â

Please see this example in help (brake squeal – unsym, modal). As a side no need for commands in modal analysis set.:
In the Analysis Settings, set the Solver type to Unsymmetric (as mentioned in the below example)
