Forum ModeratorNot directly but you can try the following:
Take the model to Mechanical mesh it, and fix all the vertices and then insert a command snippet without any command to solve it.
And then export the "Total Deformation" result.
This would be an STL file with the cross-section included (most probably, some section will not make it through)
If the CAD software can read the STL directly well and good otherwise take it to Spaceclaim convert it to step and then take it there.

Forum Moderatoryeah, that is stl format so it is normal.
You should be able to merge them either in CAD or in Mechanical.
