ACP Pre parameterizing angles and count of ply pairs

I'm trying to parameterize a pair of plys that exist in a +alpha/-alpha pair of as well as the number of layers of that pair. I have been using a stackup definition to define the angle and fabric  of the +/- pair. This allows me to easily parameterize the number of layers with the modeling ply but doesn't seem to allow for parameterizing the angle at the stackup level. If I then change the angle at the modeling ply level it rotates the +alpha/-alpha pair together which is not what I want. I just want to paramterize alpha. If I model each modeling ply individually referencing the fabric I can correctly parameterize the angle but then if I change n-layer count I end up with n layers of +alpha then n layers -alpha rather than repeating +/- pairs.
