SubscriberHi everyone,
I'm running a simulation in which I deform an elastic material using Ansys Mechanical (Workbench). Once completed, the simulation gives me various quantities, such as the Reaction Force, the Deformation along the three axes, etc. Is there an "intrinsic error" associated with these quantities? I mean, the simulation indeed converges, but is it possible to estimate the "goodness" of the convergence? In all the scientific papers, I usually see data of simulations without error bar.

Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You may want to look at the 'Error' result in the post processor:

Thanks,
Akshat
