SubscriberI’m working in Ansys Electronics Desktop 2024 R2. I’ve successfully designed and simulated an antenna in HFSS, and I’m now trying to integrate it with a rectifier circuit using Ansys Circuit (Nexxim). However, I’m facing a few challenges and couldn’t find clear documentation or tutorials for the following:
HSMS-282E Schottky Diode not in Library
I searched the component library in Nexxim but couldn’t find the HSMS-282E Schottky diode. Is there a standard library I might be missing? How to Import HSMS-282E SPICE Model into Ansys Circuit
I have the SPICE model (.lib) for the HSMS-282E diode. What are the exact steps to properly import and use it in my Nexxim schematic?Performing Harmonic Balance Simulation for RF-to-DC Conversion
I want to run a harmonic balance simulation to evaluate the rectifier's power conversion efficiency (PCE). Can someone provide a step-by-step procedure or example setup?Measuring DC Output Across Load
What’s the recommended method to view the DC output voltage and current across the load in a harmonic balance simulation? If anyone has documentation, example projects, or tutorial links related to these topics, I’d really appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance!

Ansys EmployeeThis is a duplicate question, I will repeat the answer here:
- Â The component libraries ae out of date; you can probably download it from the web
- A spice file can be imported directly in the component libraries window, search for "Spice"Â You have to specify whether it's Hspice or Pspice.
- There are a few examples in the examples folder:Â "Examples\Circuit\RF Microwave\Amplifiers"
- A voltage probe can be inserted anywhere in the circuit.
Let me know if this helps
