SubscriberHi
i'm confused bout the result of my CFD analysis. I simulated a hovering propeller without wind with same setup (steady-state) but in some RPM the drag was negative. Is it normal or indicate something wrong on my setup? Could some one explain it? I was search on many papers and website but didn't get the answer. The setup was steady state, k-omega SST 5%, boundaries: pressure inlet-pressure outlet : 1atm, MRF, and the mesh have a min orthogonal quality: 0.2 with 1.89mil cells. For this analysis, i had follow the instructictions on Ansys's youtube channel.
Thankyou in advance.

Forum ModeratorNegative drag force or drag coefficient? For the latter, did you alter the area reference value? The definitions are covered in the Users Guide.Â
