Hello.

I downloaded the discovery aim student software.

I removed the zip file

When I clicked on the setup application, the installation screen was opened.

Buttons do not work. Open programs and windows defender are turned off.

I could not install the program. Can you help me?

Did you run the Launcher "as Admin"?

Yes i did. I downloaded it again. The buttons still didn't work

Hello,

Please make sure that you dont have any other ANSYS application open while running the installer. You can also verify from Task Manager.

Then run the setup.exe with Right click and Run as Admin and see if you are able to select the options

I closed all aplications. Only computer applications are open.

I still can't choose options.

Either there is a special character or non-English letter in your path to this installation file, or in your username.

For the first one, you can try moving the installation file to be under C:Temp  and see if it makes a difference.

For the second one, you have to create a new Windows user account with only English letters or numbers.

I installed it on another computer and transferred the files to my own computer.

good to hear. However, you may run into some issues in the software as it's not configured. You should manually set environment variables to be similar to what you see on your other computer. Also, you should run Productconfig.exe under (default) C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv###   with 'run as administrator' , then configure products.
