SubscriberHi everyone, I have a simulation about a Gaussian source with a fiber tip. But my results are different from the expected results (see the picture). In this case, my tip (structure) is rotated at x = 270. For the Gaussian source, the polarization angle is 270 degrees (P-polarization), and the wavelength is 785 nm. But I am not sure about the scalar approximation (see the picture). Hopefully, someone can help me with this. Thanks.

Ansys EmployeeDear Subscriber,
To accurately reproduce the results from the paper, you’ll need to match all the simulation settings, including geometry sizes, material properties, beam width, and beam position.
If some data is missing, you may try varying those parameters yourself or consider reaching out to the authors to request the missing information.
It seems that since your last attempt, you’ve been able to correctly define the cone geometry. However, I’m not sure if the cone material, beam size, and beam position have been set correctly.Best regards,
KirillÂ
