0th order phase calculation in unit cell calculations for metalens

I have a unit cell which has a period of 3*wavelength. Since the structure would be diffracting, I want to calculate only the the phase in 0th order diffraction. The diagnostic in s parameters group gives the output, "There is significant spatial variation in the near fields. Either the monitors are too close to the structure, or the system is not single mode.". I am not so confident with the phase calculated for 0th order transmission.

Also since the T monitor records the entire field in the xy plane above the unit cell, how is the phase calculated as a single digit, since the wavefront would be wobbly?

      Thank you

      Dear Abinash,

It seems to me that you are referring to the 'grating_s_parameters' analysis group. If you right-click and select Edit Object, you'll be able to view both the Setup and Analysis scripts used.

Please review them along with the comments provided in the scripts.

      Best regards,
      Kirill
