Ansys Motion Missing in Ansys Workbench 2025 R1 Student Version

      Hi,

       

      I'm unable to find the "Motion' module in Ansys Workbench in Ansys 2025 R1 Student version.

      But it seems to be there in the "Add Study" drop down in any study such as static structural, explicit dynamics etc.

       

      Is this change permanent? Could anybody please tell me what is happening?

      Hi Akshay,

      Ansys Motion is part of Ansys Student package, please check install.log (C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student) file and verify if Ansys Motion is mentioned over.

      Hi,

       

      It seems to have been installed in C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v251\Motion.

       

      But then why can't I see it in the Workbench? I have also enabled in theView all/customize menu:

      Do I have to access it from inside Mechanical in "Add Study" dropdown always?
