The EM loss map that Icepak reads is the following:
First, Icepak reads stator loss as 16.9511 W with a scaling factor of 0.99, but after mapped it becomes 16.6, how is the scaling factor 0.99?
Coil loss is readed as a total of 10.5 W with a scaling factor of 1, and then is mapped as 10.86 W.
What does scaling factor really mean then?
The core loss and stranded loss in Maxwell are:
Neither of these values (mean, rms or avg) correspond with the EM loss readed nor mapped.
In this case they are very similar, however sometimes I get a lot more differences between Maxwell results and Icepak reading, what could it be?
Also after changing the time step in EM loss link in Icepak to 1-2 ms (before it was 0-2 ms) I get the following results in Icepak:
Which doesn't make sense, since the average between 1-2 ms isn't nearly as close as that in Maxwell results. It seems like the value got doubled.
How does Icepak handle the EM loss link?
