Calculating the source power intensity in welding

      Hello everyone,

I have been trying to use moving heat flux in transient thermal to analyze the temperature in HAZ in welding but I got confused in the unit of heat input. Usually when we calculate the heat input in welding its unit will be KJ/in but in ANSYS source power intensity is given in w/m2. Now, the problem is I have no idea how to convert one to another or is it even possible to do so. I have attached a picture for a more clear understanding of the topic.

      Thank you for your help.
