SubscriberHello, I had a question about adding an unbalanced source (excitation) in HFSS. I was wondering how I can make the source have a 0 reference voltage on one end and a sine voltage on the other end? I know that lumped port excitation creates a balanced signal but I need an unbalanced signal. Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeYou can define a voltage excitation onto the same sheet that you would have defined a lumped port:
1) Create 2D planar sheet that touches the two conductors that you wish to apply the voltage to.
2) Select this sheet and apply the excitation from the menu [HFSS > Excitations > Assign > Voltage...]
