SubscriberHello,
I want to figure out about the EMI EMC for my circuit.
Is there any method that importing cadence circuit file to the HFSS? -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
If your model is a circuit design, then in HFSS you might need to re-create the circuit in its Nexxim solver. There is no direct importing of OrCAD Circuit design to HFSS.
FYI : OrCAD PCB designs can be imported into HFSS, similar as Cadence Allegro.Â

Subscriberthankyou!!!!!
helps me a lot.
question i still have is,
if i import my orcad file into HFSS, will it be possible for me to check about the electro magnetic interference?
or, have any other choice but to use the software that you mention.
Â
what i want to check about is inducing the current by the wireless power transfer and see the current flow on the circuit.....

Ansys EmployeeHello,
If you are able to re-create your problem circuitry in Ansys Nexxim solver, then you can conduct the EMI/EMC analysis for sure.
For wireless power transfer can be accomplished using the other domains such as HFSS or Maxwell, according to your frequency of operation. After that you can dynamically link all those solutions with the Circuitry under test and simulate.Â
Hope this answered your concern.

SubscriberI tried quite hard to find a way that you mentioned.
And have several question about it.
Does SIWave and Nexxim are different software?
and Does Ansys have any kind of like tutorial video or pdf files for this situation?
