SubscriberI have finished an FSI simulation using an HPC/Linux cluster and now I have the results of the simulation as follows:
Three folders named Fluent_2, Mechanical_1, and Results. Each folder contains multiple files, the Fluent_2 folder includes .cas.gz and H5 and several different files, Mechanical_1 includes files like .db .cm .ce and so on. I want to visualize the transient results at different timesteps and create animations using CFD-post or Ensight. How can I proceed with this, is there a user guide available for this? I appreciate any help and suggestions. -

Ansys EmployeeYou can view the System Coupling results in Ensight. Load the results of the coupling participants to Ensight (Fluent, Mechanical, and SyC Results).
Please refer Postprocessing Coupling Results in EnSight

SubscriberThank you very much for the response. I can visualize the coupling interface results using Ensight. However, I want to import the .rst file into Mechanical and visualize the animated deformation. I import the file using Tools>>Read results in Mechanical, but it only imports a table including total simulation time and timesteps. No meshes, no geometry, and nothing about deformation or stress results. I am attaching a screenshot of the mechanical, which might be helpful to show my problem.

Ansys EmployeeYou can visualize the animated deformations in Ensight for both fluid and structural bodies.Â
But to view it in mechanical, load the results in the same mechanical session from where you exported the files for the system coupling run (.scp and .dat) -
