SubscriberI get the result from FEEM mode properties that neff decimal point digits are e-5 and I want get more digits like e-10...
What could I do to get, the all model is based on Lithium Niobate Phase modulator.

Ansys EmployeeHi Cheng,Â
Thanks for your question. Can I ask, what is the reason that you require more digits? My concern is that it is impossible to achieve perfect accuracy with numerical methods, so although we can likely print out more digits, those digits might be beyond the level of accuracy we could expect. This article has some more information about potential sources of error (this article is for FDTD but many concepts apply to FEEM as well: Convergence testing process for FDTD simulations – Ansys Optics)
To directly answer your question though, I think that what you need is the format script command (format – Ansys Optics). You can use "format long;" to increase the number of digits printed by the script prompt to 10.Â
Best,
Anna

SubscriberHi Anna,
Thanks for your kind answer!
Actually, I was encountering troubles about MZI structure transmission.
1.I build a MZM link in Interconnect:
2. Then I load effective refractive into OM as following:
0 0.000000 00.5 0.000010 1.4137E-051 0.000020 1.4130E-051.5 0.000030 1.4123E-052 0.000050 1.4116E-052.5 0.000060 1.4109E-053 0.000080 1.4103E-053.5 0.000090 1.4096E-054 0.000100 1.4090E-053. Then I use "optimaze" to detect the relationship of DC amp vs output Power, and obtain the following curve:
But I select OM "measurement type" to "table", so the neff interpolation (be like 0.2V) can be uesd (Dose my understanding is right?);
And Once the voltage beyond the max voltage from file I load, there are no change in neff....BUT when I increase the voltage in CHARGE, the solover hint me "no converce"..
So how could I do😠Thank you anna~

Ansys EmployeeHello Cheng,Â
I cannot understand where is the problem. Loading effective index data in Optical Modulators is documented in the article Traveling Wave Mach-Zehnder Modulator in steps 3,4 and 5.Â
Kind regards,
Artemis
