Problem sharing models in Project Schematic

Hello, I am Tom, an engineering student learning ANSYS. For my assignment, I need to build an analysis with the following project schematic diagram

I was able to insert all three modules and share the engineering data and geometry between them by dragging and dropping, however, when I try to share models using the same drag and drop method, my cursor becomes a red cancel symbol and I am unable to make the shared connection. The same thing happens when I try to use the solution to one module in the setup for the following module. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

OK, I think I figured it out, at least sort of. Take a new workbench project, insert the final analysis first, right click on setup, select transfer data from new, and select the desired previous analysis type. Data, Geometry and model will all be linked, as well as the solution from the previous analysis going into the setup of the following analysis. What I still don't understand, is why I can't do a static analysis, then insert a modal analysis and take the model and solution from the previous static analysis and insert it into the new modal analysis, as would seem more intuitive to me, doing it in sequential order, as opposed to the reverse sequential order ANSYS seems to mandate. Unless I am still missing something?

      TWard48, Insert Static system first

then drag Modal analysis system and drop it on the Solution cell of the existing static system (note first 3 cells of the static system will also be shared automatically)

then drag the Harmonic system and drop it on Solution cell of the Modal system.

I think you have to drag the analysis that you want (from the left hand side toolbox) over the ‘model’ data that is in the project schematic.
