Problem in selecting geometry in PSD response tool in the Random Vibration

  I am not able to select either vertex, point or face or body in the PSD response tool for the geometry selection.
  I am using shell elements, point masses and layered sections.
  Modal is running fine but not able to select any geomtery on PSD response tool.
  
  Is it the software issue or do i have to activate something else?

  Perhaps some limitation associated with layered sections. I just tried what you describe on a non-layered shell section and could get the response psd at a node. There's an APDL POST26 method like below:
  /post26
  nsol,2,node number,x
  rpsd,3,2
  /show,png
  plvar,3
