SubscriberHello everyone,
I would like to do 2d analysis on stator rotor system to determine the contact behavior between stator and rotor. In Progressing cavity pumps, the rotor has two rotations, it rotates along its center of axis clockwise as well as the center of the stator anticlockwise or vise versa . Now to apply these two rotations at the same body seems difficult, as Ansys gives the error of over constraint or two or more bodies sharing the same geometry.
I would like to ask, is it possible to rotate the same body with two different rotations? Â

SubscribernUse two revolute joints. One revolute will be to ground. The other revolute will be between the two bodies. Both revolute joints have a joint load of type = displacement where you can type in the angles you want each one to rotate.n
