SubscriberI wonder if it is possible to define the fiber direction of a component in an assembly. Do I import the whole assembly in ACP (pre) and define the component's fiber direction? Or is it possible to just import the component itself in ACP (pre) and after defining the fiber direction import it together with my assembly in static structural?

The carbon fiber component I want to define the fiber direction of is the green part in the picture below.

Forum ModeratorYou can import just the composite geometry in ACP (pre) and define the fiber directions there, and later take this part to Mechanical Model, Bring in the rest of the model using another mechanical model and later combine them for a static analysis.
