SubscriberHello dear friends,
I have imported a CAD model to ANSYS Workbench from Solidworks for a static structural analysis. I would like to apply a line force to the body as shown in the picture below. However, I am not sure how to make the construction line to apply my force or any other way that works.
Thank you for your help.

SubscriberWhat is the source of this force? If it is the weight of the pipe and the fluid inside, you can add a line body or a solid body on the inside to represent the fluid and then turn on Gravity.

SubscriberHi Peter,
Â
Thank you for your response. Actually the line is in the outer surface of the pipe and representing the line contact of the pipe - clamp and as if the clamp apply a contact load force to the pipe. Also, I made a line body in SpaceClaim, however it does not show the line in the Ansys workbench.

Thank you,
