Boundary Zone Separation

      Hi

I have a defined mesh of only one face that I would not like to redo. Nevertheless, I would like to split it into more faces to define different boundary conditions in each zone. I have a human shape as an only face and I would like to split it into head, neck, thorax, legs...

I have tried with the command Separate Faces, split by Angle and even with it, it does not separate in all parts that I would like. Is there any other method to try with?

Moreover, when I try to modify the mesh with Separate Faces command, I get a warning saying "This operation is not supported for automatic updates and will only be used for current session. Do you want to proceed?"

      Thank you very much,

Yes, have a look in the panel: clicking on Help will take you to the explanation for what Region, Mark etc mean.

The warning is because you're breaking the workflow within Workbench. I tend to use Fluent in standalone mode so lose all workflow benefits but can change anything/everything as I want.

If you are using workbench, you can just change those named selection in meshing and then update fluent cell.
