Hi, I am currently trying to perform FSI by system coupling (Mechanical (Transient Structural) and CFX).Â
I tried to follow the steps in the video:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN2MfWBv3Sk&t=126s
I applied fixed support at each end of the beam, and used inlet (0.1m/s), outlet, symmetric boundary conditions and periodic interface for the fluid domain. I also used the Fluid Solid Interface for the beam and enabled mesh motion for the fluid domain. The solid is steel and fluid is air.
IÂ got the error message saying "Update failed for the Solution component in System Coupling. The coupled update for system Transient Structural threw an exception. Error updating cell Solution in system Transient Structural. View the messages in Mechanical editor for more details."
Â
So I went to the Mechanical editor and checked the log message, but I still don't understand the cause of the problem.
Does this mean the problem is raised from the structural part? I thought so at first, but the log message seems to suggest otherwise.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Underneath is a bit from the log file that I think may contain the error message (that I don't understand).
Thank you.
