Hello guys,
I am trying to make a custom RVE Model in Material Designer. I do only have a .xdme or .stl file. Now I opened the .stl file in SpaceClaim and 'ConvertSurface -> To Solid'. Then I copied the entire body (2 Phases) into Material Designer but when I try to assign the different phases I do get an error:
This is the Phases:
Is it possible that the error is because I have around 50 solids for 1 Phase and 70 for the other Phase? Does it have to be just one solid? Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I think it is because of a faulty material assignment, I used custom Tungstencarbide engineering data because I couldn't find one in my materials. Any idea how I might get the correct WC material Model? I have the material in ansys Discovery but somehow not in Engineering Data.
Kind Regards,
Philip -
