Converting TSMC-provided .ircx into a helic-compatible .ircx for HFSS

I wish to import a .gds from Cadence Virtuoso/Layout XL into HFSS using my .ircx file and .layermap file. However, I seem to get an "afet2tech" error. How do I convert my .ircx from TSMC into a format that is compatible with HFSS? HFSS apps engineers mentioned that my .ircx must be helic compatible? They mentioned perhaps that there is a .ircx translator?

      Thanks in advance.

Try using the latest release (2025R1).
If needed you can perform the translation from the command line interface:

      \anstranslator.exe .gds .aedb -i=GDSII -o=edb -t=techfile.ircx -g=layermap.map

      Hi Aymen,

Thanks for the response. However, when I import my layout, I only see the vias - no metals are imported (I double checked the the .gds by importing back to Cadence => no issues here).

Might you know why I only see vias (no metal objects imported even though the stackup generated from the .ircx looks good)?
