SubscriberHello, I running into an issue when importing a 2D sketch into Ansys from Solidworks. I want to import an airfoil and define a section of that as a velocity inlet to simulate suction active flow control.
The solidworks sketch i'm trying to import is shown below:
The section missing is where I want to place my suction slot. After importing to the DesignModeler, I get a line body that looks like this:
I cannot edit this line body, or split it up to label the suction slot. Is there a specific way to import a Solidworks file into Ansys so that I can edit the line body?Â

Forum ModeratorOnce you've created the surface body you'll be able to split the edge.Â
