SubscriberHiello Everyone, I am new to ansys. I am currently using 19.2 Ansys workbench. I am trying to find equivalent normal cantilver rectangle beam for complex "s" shape beams. I was abel to find my beam but mass has higher than expected so tha natural frequency were not matching. So i want to reduce weight of the silicon cantilever beam for these reason i need the beam of massless . So latter on i can disturbtue the mass. How we can create massless silicon rectungular beams for modal analysis.

SubscriberWhy do you need a straight rectangular beam?
Why not just model the complex "s" shape beam?

SubscriberHow complex are we talking here? Can you show an image? It seems in your effort to simplify the geometry, you are introducing new problems.
