SubscriberPlease reply with an image of the solid model geometry. Annotate the image with the boundary conditions you want to use. Where will the supports be applied, what kind of supports (fixed, pinned)? Where will the load be applied?

SubscriberIs this geometry in SpaceClaim?
If so, select the side face of the body, and paste it as a surface. Delete the solid body. Now you have a surface that you can mesh with shell elements and assign them the thickness that represents with width of the solid body.
The two faces that you show as fixed and for applying load are now edges.
